Reds Hire First Development Coach

Barnsley have hired their first ever development coach with the signing of former Birmingham City player Stuart Gibson.


Gibson who also played for Oxford United, Yeovil Town and teams in Sweden, has a UEFA 'A' coaching licence and has had spells coaching and managing in Norway.

Gibson, who, briefly worked with Reds boss Simon Davey when Davey spent a three month loan spell at Darlington in 1997, will run the new development squad which consists of players such as Jacob Butterfield, Reuben Noble-Lazarus, Jamil Adam and new boy Onome Sodje.
