Reds Part Company With Davey!

Some would say it's about time, but Simon Davey has tonight left the club by mutual consent.

Davey, who took over in November 2006, has been the subject of a lot of abuse for the two and a half years he's been at the helm after three relegation struggles.

He did mastermind the Reds' fine 2008 cup run, but the bread and butter league finishes haven't been to standard and after 4 defeats in the first 5 games of the season, he has left the club.

More soon.
