The Reds triumphed 1-0 at the Britannia Stadium courtesy of Istvan Ferenczi's 4th goal in 3 starts and manager Simon Davey was given the award today and a presentation will be shown on tomorrow's Soccer Saturday programme on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports News.
The panel which gives out the award comprises of Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, ex Reds boss Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, and the award is given to the best performance out of all the matches played across the English divisions.
