Barnsley have now taken their summer signings into double figures with the capture of Brad Potts from Blackpool.

The 23 year old has signed a three-year contract and is a massive boost for the Reds after it was announced today that winger Lloyd Isgrove will miss the first month of the new campaign with ligament damage.

Potts has spent the last two seasons with Blackpool, making 98 appearances, scoring 19 goals, including 13 last season as he helped the Tangerines bounce straight back up to League One by winning the League Two playoffs and he scored the crucial first goal in their 2-1 final victory over Exeter at Wembley before providing the assist for Mark Cullen to grab the winner.

The former Carlisle trainee can play in numerous positions across the midfield and won one cap for the England Under 19 side, featuring in a 1-0 friendly win over Finland in November 2012.
