Reds Set To Add Moore?

The Reds have agreed a fee with Ipswich Town for striker Kieffer Moore according to national reports today.

Moore was supposedly undergoing a medical at Oakwell last night after the clubs agreed a fee of £750,000 for the forward who has spent the first half of the season on loan at League One side Rotherham United.

The 6'5" 25-year-old has been in great form for the Millers so far this term, with 13 goals in 22 appearances but was recalled by Ipswich in December. He was only signed by Mick McCarthy a year ago from Forest Green Rovers for £10,000.

Peterborough, Charlton and Bradford have all reported to have been interested in Moore, but Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony said on Twitter last night that a deal to sign Moore was off, due to his wage demands being too high.

The Reds are in desperate need of reinforcements up front after Ike Ugbo returned to Chelsea, leaving Tom Bradshaw and Mamadou Thiam as the clubs only recognised strikers.
