Striker Marc Richards is set to sign a new deal at Oakwell this week.
Richards who has scored 5 goals in 20 games for The Reds initially signed on a short team deal to Christmas, but boss Andy Ritchie has been suitably impressed.
Ritchie told the Official Site:
" We have been given the go ahead to discuss a new contract with Marc and his agent so we will look at doing something this week. We want to get things sorted sooner rather than later"
