Reds boss Mark Robins has hinted that out of favour pair Liam Dickinson and Martin Devaney may leave the club in order to get first team football.

Dickinson has been widely criticised since his summer move from Brighton and despite two goals in pre season, hasn't hit the net yet in the Championship.

Devaney, meanwhile has been restricted to just substitute appearances and one of the Reds' longest serving players could also be shown the door. He spent time last season on loan with League One side MK Dons.

In all, he has appeared 172 times for the Reds since his move from Watford in 2005 and has netted 18 goals.

Robins told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

"We are also looking to do something with Martin (Devaney) and Liam (Dickinson) to get them out playing some games so we will have to see what happens with that."
