Scarcella joins as Colgan's understudy

Goalkeeper David Scarcella is expected at Oakwell tomorrow and subject to a medical he will be the our new reserve keeper next season.

The 21-year-old former schoolboy international has been playing with Adelaide United in the Australian National Soccer League and had a spell training at the Reds last season.

He will be stand-in to Nick Colgan who arrived from Hibernian on Monday.
