Former Rangers striker Alan Gow is the latest name to be linked with a move to Oakwell following his release by Plymouth.
He signed for the Pilgrims from the Gers in 2009 after loan spells with Blackpool and Norwich City from Ibrox. He had previously played for Clydebank, Airdrie United and Falkirk.
He spent time on loan back in the SPL with Hibernian last season. Altogether in 241 games in his career he has netted 52 goals.
