Barnsley are chasing their first win at Brighton in seven attempts, dating back to 1988. They have lost each of their last five visits, scoring just twice in that time.
Barnsley have scored more than one goal in a game at Brighton just ONCE. They won 2-1 back in December 1970.
Overall the Seagulls have won six of the last nine meetings home and away, losing just twice.
This is Brighton’s fourth successive game against a team starting with the letter B.
Oscar Garcia’s men are currently on a six match unbeaten run, of which they have won three.
