Interesting Stats

Barnsley have failed to win any of their last six encounters with Nottingham Forest and have won just two of the last 10.

Forest have though managed just one win from their last seven trips to Oakwell, which came in their most recent visit, 4-1 back in October 2012.

Billy Davies’s side won 3-2 at the City Ground in September, so are chasing their first double over Barnsley since 2000-2001.

The Reds are three goals away from netting 100 against Forest, who have so far managed 108 against them.

Nottingham Forest are in the thick of the promotion race, sitting fifth in the Championship table but have lost each of their last two league matches.

It is only the second time this season they have lost back to back games and they have not lost three on the bounce for 14 months.

Forest have failed to win any of their last four games in all competitions, losing three. Prior to this they were unbeaten in 16, nine of which they had won.

Forest have scored in every league game of 2014 and the last time they failed to net in the Championship was back on the 21st December.

They have lost just three times on the road this season, the joint lowest in the Championship but have won just five. They are accrued eight stalemates away from the City Ground, the joint most in the top 10.

This game sees Forest manager Billy Davies start a five-match touchline ban.
