There will be no David Perkins or Jim McNulty who have both now left the club whilst it is unlikely Jason Scotland will feature as he talks to other clubs.

Ryan McLoughlin is finally set to make his debut whilst Brek Shea will make his first Oakwell apperance.

Liam Lawrence is set for his debut but due to a lack of match fitness it may come from the bench.

Kelvin Etuhu, Bobby Hassell and Marcus Pedersen are all sidelined through injury.

Perkins is not eligible to face the Reds for Blackpool.

Barnsley have won just one of their last five meetings with Blackpool

Blackpool have lost just one of their last four trips to Oakwell.

The Reds have won 40 of the 91 meetings overall and were unbeaten in 10 clashes between August 2003 and September 2008.

 

 

Blackpool are in the middle of their customary mid season slump. In mid September they were top of the Championship, having won five and drawn one of their first six matches.

Since then the Seasiders have won just three of 19, and are without a victory in nine matches in all competitions, EIGHT of which they have lost!

Paul Ince’s side have lost each of their last five matches on the road and have won just one of the last 10.
