Barnsley's first Championship game to be shown live on SKY as been confirmed as the trip to Preston North End. The game was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday 23rd September 2006 but has now been moved forward to Friday 22nd September 2006 at 7:45pm.
Meanwhile Andy Ritchie is set to make his first signing of the summer with the arrival of striker Michael Coulson from Scarborough.
The 18 year old spent a spell on trial at Oakwell earlier this season and Ritchie told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:
"Hopefully we will be able to sort everything out to sign Michael this week.
"We will probably sort something out with Scarborough so they will loan a couple of our players for next season but hopefully things will be finalised soon".
