The Reds have resigned 'keeper Luke Steele on a permanent basis after two successful loan spells with the Club.

Luke shot to worldwide fame with a blinding performance in the Reds 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup 5th Round. He went onto make 17 first team appearances for the Reds, including one at Wembley in the FA Cup Semi Final.

Reds boss Simon Davey said:

We are delighted to have netted Luke on a permanent basis after he performed so well for us last season.

"We now have two top quality keepers in Luke and Heinz Muller who will both by vying for the number one jersey at Oakwell next season. That is very healthy competition and is what we are looking to achieve in every department".
