Peter Handyside was substituted as a precaution against Plymouth on Saturday after picking up a minor knock, but Reds manager Thordarson was optimistic that the centre-back will be fit.

New signing Steven Carson is out with a foot injury, Steve Hayward and Isaiah Rankin (hamstring) are still out while Alex Neil (groin) will at least travel with the squad.
