Portuguese winger Filipe Teixeira has handed Barnsley a major boost for the Championship run-in by extending his loan from West Brom until the end of the season.

The 29 year old has been in sparkling form since arriving from the Hawthorns on January transfer deadline day, playing a key role as The Reds have won three of the six games he has played in.

Former Portugal Under 21 international Teixeira will now remain at Oakwell until the start of May.

Reds boss Mark Robins told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

"Filipe has been outstanding for us during the games he has played and we are absolutely delighted to have extended his loan spell here. He is an exciting player and one the supporters have really taken to so hopefully we will continue to see just how good a footballer he is in the coming weeks".

Meanwhile two of Barnsley’s home games in March have been designated as all ticket for both sets of supporters. The visit of Nottingham Forest on Tuesday 16th March and Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 27th March are now all ticket which means supporters MUST buy their tickets by 6pm on the day of the game (Forest) and 12 noon on the day of the game (Donny) NO tickets will be on sale on the turnstiles.
