In the midst of all the loan players arriving at Oakwell a permanent acquisition arrived today in the form of Jak McCourt from Leicester City.
The 20 year old came through the youth ranks at the current Premier League leaders and signed professional terms at the King Power Stadium in May 2013.
However the Liverpool born midfielder never made a first team appearance for the Foxes but enjoyed an 11 game loan spell at Torquay in 2013-2014 and a three game stint at Port Vale earlier on this season.
The fee which brings McCourt from the Midlands to Yorkshire has been described as undisclosed and he has penned a deal until the summer of 2017.
