Third Plymouth Date Set

The new date for the Reds trip to Home Park to face Plymouth Argyle again has been set to Saturday 23rd January 2010.

The original game in Devon was abandoned after 58 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch after goals from Daniel Bogdanovic, Emil Hallfredsson, Adam Hammill and Ryan Shotton saw the Reds race into a 4-1 lead after half an hour before referee Gavin Ward called a halt to proceedings.

The game was re-arranged for Tuesday 12th January but due to a draw in the Pilgrims' FA Cup third round clash with Newcastle United saw the replay cancel out that date as well. Newcastle won 3-0.

Barnsley face Plymouth again at Oakwell on February 13th.
