Too Good To Be True

Barnsley have been brought back down to earth after Saturday's stunning success at Southend with the news that Derby County have recalled defender Lewin Nyatanga for the final 3 games.

Nyatanga joined The Reds on loan in February and has been instrumental in keeping heads above water in the race for Championship survival.

Lewin was magnificent again at Southend and even earned his own song from the travelling army which now seems will get just the one airing.

Rams boss Billy Davies has recalled Nyatanga due to the loss of Darren Moore for the rest of the season through suspension

Lewin Nyatanga made 10 starts for Barnsley and scored the first in Barnsley's 4-2 win at Plymouth.

Meanwhile goal-keeper Nick Colgan and inform striker Daniel Nardiello have been named in the Championship's Team of the Week for their fine performances in the 3-1 win at Roots Hall.

Colgan produced two top saves in the first half whilst Nardiello bagged a brace to take his tally to 4 in 3 games.

Loan star Robbie Williams was named in the League One Team of the Week after helping play-off hopefuls Blackpool to a thumping 4-1 victory over Northampton at Bloomfield Road.

Finally midfielder Nicky Wroe has returned to Oakwell after a loan spell at League Two strugglers Bury.
