Trio In Team Of Week

Barnsley’s first win at Leicester City in nearly two decades has been recognised by the Football League as three of the stars of that 2-1 victory at the King Power Stadium have been named in the official Npower Championship Team of the Week.

Goalkeeper Luke Steele, midfielder Danny Drinkwater and two-goal hero Andy Gray have all been selected.

Despite now enduring 10 games since his last clean sheet, Steele made a number of notable saves in the Midlands, Drinkwater who has extended his loan from Manchester United until the end of the season is unbeaten in his last five league appearances of The Reds- when he departed the 5-3 defeat against Ipswich the score was 1-0 to Barnsley, and he has missed each of the three subsequent defeats with injury- whilst Gray’s first goals since November sealed The Reds fourth away of the season and their first at Leicester since 1994.
