Barnsley’s on loan full back Kieran Trippier made his international debut as England Under 21s were beaten 2-0 by Germany on Monday night.

The 20 year old Manchester City man played the full 90 minutes but the 10 man team were defeated thanks to goals from Konstantin Rausch and a Cenk Tonsun penalty awarded when goalkeeper Jason Steele was sent off for allegedly bringing down Boris Vukcevic in the area.
