Wallwork Assaulter Pleads Guilty

The man accused of stabbing West Brom midfielder Ronnie Wallwork has pleaded guilty to "wounding with intent"

Wallwork, the former Manchester United trainee, was on loan at Oakwell and had played just two matches when he was stabbed hand, stomach and back in October 2006 outside a Manchester nightclub.

Robert Rimmer, 21, will appear at another hearing on 21st December 2007.

Wallwork, who has now fully recovered is on loan with Andy Ritchie's Huddersfield Town.
