Former Reds loan signing Jonathan Walters completed his move from Bolton to Hull.
He said:"If we can get promoted this year there's every chance we could have a crack at going up into the First Division, which would be massive for the club and the players."
"Having played here last season and then for Barnsley, who are fourth in the Second Division, I'd say that the side here is the better out of the two.
"It's a massive opportunity for myself because the team are top of the Third Division and, touch wood, hopefully we'll be going up into the Second Division for next season."
