Wigan manager Gary Caldwell said: 

"We could have nicked it at the death from the set-piece and we looked a threat all day from corners. We have a few opportunities cleared off the line and the bar. I was disappointed it didn't go in but overall I think a draw was a fair result for both teams.

"Whenever [Leon] Barnett plays it's eventful, he puts his head on it in both boxes. I thought he defended excellently especially when we were put under a bit of pressure especially in the first half, it was a positive clean sheet.

"I think we know every game's difficult, it's very competitive. Everyone can take points from each other. We just need to concentrate on ourselves and keep trying to progress in terms of picking points and the way we play."
