Wilkinson throws hat into the ring

Former Reds striker Paul Wilkinson has refused to rule himself out of the running for the vacant manager's job and declared himself 'flattered' to be considered as a candidate.
Wilkinson is currently reserve team coach at Grimsby Town and is rumoured to have been short-listed for a shot at management with The Tykes.
In an interview in the Grimsby Telegraph, Wilkinson, who was a key member of the Barnsley side that was promoted to the Premiership in 1997, declared his ambitions.
