Wilson sacked by Bristol City

Former Reds player/manager Danny Wilson has parted company with Bristol City after four years in charge.

The Robins recently lost in the Division Two play-offs for the second season running.

In his four seasons in charge, they finished ninth, seventh, third and third in Division Two.

But despite a pretty good record at Ashton Gate, Chairman Steve Lansdown sacked Wilson after his failure to get the club back in the First Division. After two third place finishes, you have to feel a bit sorry Danny....loyalty eh?
