Youngsters Pen Pro Deals

Promising youngsters Jamil Adam and Jordan Hibbert have committed their futures to Barnsley by signing their first professional contracts at Oakwell.


Adam, who made his senior debut at Cardiff on the final day of the 2007-2008 season has signed until the summer of 2010.

"Jamil is an exciting young player who we believe can have a very bright future at Barnsley Football Club. We are all delighted that he has committed himself to us and are looking forward to working with him".


Hibbert has also signed until 2010 after impressing in the reserves and youth team since signing from Chelsea's youth programme. Davey continued:


"We are delighted that Jordan has committed his future to Barnsley Football Club. He is a player with a lot of potential and one we are looking forward to working with next season".

Both players will be part of the new "development squad" which will also include Reuben Noble-Lazarus and Onome Sodje amongst others.
