Barnsley 0-1 Blackpool: Post Match Reaction

Last updated : 15 March 2009 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

"We are very disappointed and it was not a good game for us. The conditions were poor but we just did not play well. I thought it could have gone either was and we are disappointed to lose at home.

"It was not the result or performance we were looking for. It was a big game for us and we did not step up to the plate.

"We have eleven matches left and we have to bounce back. We have to do that now on Tuesday.

"We had possession, chances, corners and free kicks but just could not get it over the line. Nothing fell for us today and we would not have scored if we were still out there now. We have to put that to bed now on Tuesday night.

"We will not look at the table. That only matters on May 4 and we still have three matches in hand on some teams. We have to make sure we get points from those.

"There's damage done because we have lost at home against a team around us but we will not know how much until May4. We have games in hand on Blackpool and on the teams around us so we have to get the points from those matches".
