Barnsley 0-1 Sheffield United: Post Match Reaction

"It was not a great result and defiantly not the one we wanted or deserved. On reflection I thought that we were the better team, created the better chances and should have had a definite penalty in the first half.

"We should have probably had two more penalties in the second half as well.

"I cannot fault my players because the work rate and endeavour was there. We were the better team and are very, very disappointed.

"It was nothing to do with the weather even though it was a little wild out there. We have lost a game where we have been the better side throughout and that is bitterly disappointing.

"We have played well again and got nothing. The lads are not thinking about Wembley and it is not effecting there performances. We were the better side but we will have to fight another day.

"The referee knows it was a penalty in the first half. I have seen the video and it is a definite penalty.

"People are talking a lot about Wembley but we have to go about our business. We were the better side and it would be a different story if the three penalty shouts had gone our way.

"It is a low day for us but we will pick them up and get ready for Burnley next weekend".
