Barnsley 1-0 Blackpool Post Match Reaction

"I do not think it was that poor a game from our perspective. We had a game plan and it worked perfectly. We had to keep Charlie Adam quiet and I think he had one of his poorest games of the season.

"It was a good three points and a good performance. We got it down and stretched them in the second half and I think there was only one side going to win it.

"I am delighted for Iain Hume to get a goal and he has been outstanding in training this week. He thoroughly deserved that one.

"We have to give credit to all of them. Ryan Shotton came in and owed us a performance after his sending off. I think Luke Potter can feel a little aggrieved to have missed out.

"We nullified Blackpool as a threat and really did well in the second half. I have to give credit to my players.

"Jay Rodriguez will go back to Burnley after today's game and I have to thank Brian (Laws) for letting him come here. He will have benefited from some games and his goal.

"We have had some more good news with Stephen Foster signing a new two year deal and Luke Potter also extending his stay with the club. We are talking to others as well and it is something we want to get sorted before the end of the season".
