"Looking at the game I thought we deserved a point. We were up against a good side with good players and we defended strongly. You only have to give players like that half a chance and it is in the back of the net.
"We got back into the game and could have won it but it was a good spectacle for Championship football. Both teams went to win the game and that showed.
"Everybody gets a little heated out there and you jump up when the ball strikes someone in the area. I do not know whether we should have had a penalty or not in the second half but felt that Cardiff ought to have had one in the first.
"We are happy. We are on a good run and will look to continue that in the coming weeks. We are undefeated in four matches and want that run to go on".
