Barnsley 1-3 Norwich City: Post Match Reaction

Last updated : 03 March 2007 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

"It was the result that matters and even though we played well at times we are still very disappointed. We had chances to get back into the game but we were 3-0 down at the time so that is disappointing.

"It is just one game out of an eleven match season so it is not a disaster and we will move on.

"I cannot fault my players for their work rate and if we can do that between now and the end of the season we will be ok.

"Istvan (Ferenczi) scored another goal but we lost the game and that is disappointing for everybody.

"We picked up no injuries in the second half and we just wanted to freshen things up. We had all the possession but were struggling to get in behind them.

"We just could not get the goal. Goals change games - we hit the bar and had one off the line. Norwich had the rub of the green today - we didn't.

"The players had a right go at Norwich this afternoon and I cannot fault them for that.

"It is not a disaster. We will reassess now and look forward to the Sunderland game".
