"I am very, very pleased with that. We knew that the results against Luton and QPR were all important and we have managed to win both matches. We have put together two great results and that is all important.
"We had to stick in there and there are times when you cannot play pretty football. Pretty football does not get you results sometimes and we have had to grind it out tonight. If we do that in every game until the end of the season and pick up enough points to stay up then I will be happy.
"QPR were a very big and very physical side and they did put us under a lot of pressure but we stood up to that. I think Nick (Colgan) has only made two saves all night because out defending was magnificent.
"We had ample opportunity in the first half to put quality into the box from wide positions and we only really did that once. Marc Richards scored from it and it was a big goal for him because he works tirelessly out there.
"The second goal by Brian Howard was just a cultured finish and a great way to end the game".
