Barnsley 2-1 Watford: Post Match Reaction

Last updated : 16 November 2008 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

"It has been a difficult week for everybody here and it now ends with a win, which was all important. We could have been three up at half time and that was not through bad finishing but excellent goalkeeping.

"I thought we deserved the win overall when you look at the chances in the game. The three points were the most important thing.

"Jon Macken has trained all week and looked sharp from the start. He had a great header and hit the bar but to have an experienced striker in there was important. Kayode Odejayi was also magnificent alongside him today.

"Goals change games and today it was one against us that did it for us. It made us have more belief and momentum to go and attack. Miguel (Mostto) scored a great goal and that is equally important for him.

"It is amazing what a goal can do. This time it was one against us that changed it for us. That is three points for Iain (Hume)".
