Barnsley 2-2 Sheffield United: Post Match Reaction

Last updated : 10 November 2009 By Rob Miles (Barnsley Boy)

"We should have had all three points tonight. There were two teams out there and you just want to be treated fairly in terms of rule breaking and that was not the case tonight. There were two soft penalties at one end and at the other we were having the shirts pulled off our backs but nothing given.

"I am very disappointed not to get all three points. I am disappointed not to have won with the number of chances we created and we feel very hard done by. If they were penalties then we should have had something at the other end. I thought it was a great performance and we controlled the game. It was an excellent performance. It was a great derby game and I am very disappointed for the lads. We have played very well tonight.

"It is difficult to talk about things without getting into trouble but there were the two penalties and a clear head butt which there was nothing done about. I am just disappointed for my players.

"We created a lot of good chances against a top side. We played with heart and courage tonight. I am delighted with our performance but gutted with it all. It is difficult to take."
