"It was a great result. There was a lot of pressure on the game particularly when you looked at the league table so it was a great night.

"This result will not keep us up and it will not send Hull down but it was a big three points for the team.

"The work ethic of the team was outstanding and they really did us proud for the full 90 minutes.

"We continued pushing and pressing right from the kick off and I think we got our just rewards in the end.

"The league table will change every week but if we can continue like that then I am sure we will be alright.

"That was the best performance since we have been here. The lads worked so hard and kept a great shape throughout the game. Everyone was outstanding.

"When you bring players in from e foreign country you sometimes have question marks over their work rate and work ethic but the two Hungarian lads were unbelievable out there. They were superb and scored three great goals for us. Hopefully they will get even better now".

Ryan also admitted a knee injury had forced Nick Colgan off at half-time.

"Nick had a problem with some pain in his knee during the first half. By half time it was affecting his calf, which went into spasm so he could not continue.

"We will have to wait and see what the problem is.

"David Lucas came in and did well for us. It will do him the world of good to get a game - and a clean sheet - in the second half".
