"We desperately needed that. People have been talking about it beind D-Day at Oakwell today and our second half performance was fantastic.
"No-one would have predicted that response after the sending off and we were fantastic. The penalty sucked the life out of us but we stayed in the game although we all thought the worst after the sending off. The lads have been questioned regarding their fitness but no-one could doubt that today.
