Barnsley 4-1 Leeds: Post Match Reaction

"I'm really pleased. It's been a very difficult week. We've lost players through injury and we are down to the bare bones. We picked a strategy today that we thought would give us a chance of winning today and it did.

"It's been draining trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There was a possibility of going into the FA Cup fixture without having picked up any more points, but the way the way the lads have responded to what I have asked them to do has been great. It was a united performance against Leeds and we played some marvelous football, created some great chances and looked solid defensively.

"We've got three points from this game so anything from the Doncaster game is a bonus.

"Bragging rights are there for the supporters and it is encouraging to see that we can compete against the likes of Leeds United of this world. I can't get too up or too down when we win or lose games. I need to remain balanced. Our priority is to get to 50 points, and trust me, 50 points this season will be a miracle.

"It's unlikely that Jacob Butterfield will play now in the next three or four weeks."
