"I thought Birmingham started the better and we did not get to grips with them but we managed to get back into after the first 15 or 20 minutes, We defended really well without creating anything meaningful going forward.

"Nick Colgan made one great save and we made tow or three excellent blocks on the edge of the area, which is something I have been wanting.

"We got dragged around a bit for their goal and the ball took a bobble off the turf and went in over Nick's hand. I think he would have got it if is had not taken that bobble.

"We played really well in the second half and restricted them to the one chance but as is our luck at the moment, they put it in. We just did not have the cutting edge today.

"Daniel Nardiello had two or three chances at the end and I thought the volley was in".
