Bristol City 2-0 Barnsley: Post Match Reaction

Last updated : 31 January 2009 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

"We had a lot of the play for an hour today. We had them under pressure and created some chances. We had a lot of possession and some good set pieces but we switched off. Bristol changed it around in the middle of the park, we switched off and they scored a good goal.

"I was disappointed with the defending for that one. We then went straight down the other end and the keeper has pulled off a world class save and the ball has stayed out. That really changed the game because they then got lucky with three ricochets in the area for the second goal.

"That is what happens to you when you are on a run like we are. We performed better today and the lads really gave it a go but we have not won the game.

"We probably should have been in front today and we have ended up losing. That is disappointing.

"Daniel Bogdanovic has a hamstring strain and could be out for a week to ten days. We need bodies off the treatment table and out on the training pitch at the moment.

"I will never comment on speculation and whether we have made a bid or not for a player. Michael Mifsud is someone I would love to have at the Club but that is all I am prepared to say.

"We now have a massive derby game coming up on Tuesday that we want to go out and win for the fans. We want three points for everybody connected with the Club".
