Bristol City 2-2 Barnsley: Post Match Reaction.

"Of course it's always disappointing to lose a lead,"

"I wouldn't say Im fully content. But to come to the league leaders in a carnival atmosphere, if you like, and come out with a point - we looked fairly solid for most of the game - it's a good start.

"The results went for us in the division and that means we can kick on for the remaining games.

"It's not about messages, it's about us maintaining that desire to give the fans a run for their money.

"The players are disappointed, and that's a good sign. We've come from nowhere. If you fail, you may as well fail bold. That doesn't mean we are going to fail, it means I don't want fear or mediocrity."

"Ben Pearson's second half was excellent,"

"We spoke to him at half time, we said 'you've got Man United in you and it needs to come out'. He's been ill all week but it shows character and the spirit he's got, that's why he's going to go have a good career.

"It's a poor challenge (for the penalty). He's (M'voto) rash at times, and he doesn't need to be. He's really strong, really quick and he's a good one-on-one defender but he gets that rush of blood. He knows he's got to improve on that. It's a mindset Jean's struggled with because he's got so many positives to his game.

"(Christian) Dibble comes back, we even registered Mark Crossley (Goalkeeper Coach) but it's worked out for us. Joe (Wildsmith) has done well for his league debut. There was a calm focus about him. He made a couple of good saves and his kicking was good.

"He coped well. I reminded him it was about concentration and if something goes wrong, to keep going.

"Mason Holgate has a slight niggle of the hamstring. It was disappointing because he felt it a little bit but failed to report it properly. Because he doesn't quite understand his own body yet, he's tried to play through it, but it's not a bad thing. He'll learn through experience. Maybe we could have used him today, off the bench, but it was a risk with some big games coming up.

"Ramage is fit, he's flying and he's done very well in training. The problem we've got is the seven loans and it's not ideal. Ramage would have been a good contender to start, he'd have gone toe-to-toe with Jean-Yves but the fact he's a loan means he didn't make the squad."
