Bristol City 5-3 Barnsley: Post Match Reaction

"I thought we did pretty well in the first half. We conceded a stupid goal from a cross early on but came back into it with a good one of ourselves although they will probably say the same. The game was very open - too open really - and they got a second goal at the right time for them. It was a bad time for us.

"They had more impetus in the second half and it was difficult for us. It was a good open game and we are disappointed not to have taken something. We could have nicked something at the end.

"The penalty looked a little harsh especially when players are running that quickly but the referee had to make a difficult decision and it went against us. We have not played too badly tonight although we struggled to cope with Bristol's front two at times.

"To concede three goals in the second half was poor and we played some good stuff at times although it was all in front of them. To score three goals away from home and not get anything does leave you scratching your head a little".
