Derby 0-0 Barnsley: Post Match Reaction

Last updated : 21 March 2009 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

"We are very disappointed not to come away with all three points. That performance was up with the best we have seen this season. To come to a place like this and play like that is a massive credit to my players.

"I thought we took the game to them. We were the better side in the first half and edged in again after the break. We dominated the match and were the better team. We have come away with a point but we had the chances to get more.

"Their keeper made a fantastic save from Jon Macken, Michael Mifsud had a couple of good chances and we hit the post. It is a point gained but we are very disappointed not to have three.

"Football can come and kick you in the teeth and we are not out of danger yet.

"Anderson got a bang on his knee; Andranik also had a whack on his knee and Rob Kozluk has blurred vision and concussion after running into Heinz Muller. They would all probably not play if we had a game on Tuesday so this little break will be good for us. Adam Hammill missed today with an ankle injury but he will be fit for Nottingham Forest.

"The fans were magnificent today. It was great to hear them out sing the Derby supporters.

"The players are very disappointed not to have three points. It was anopportunity missed".
