Huddersfield 2-1 Barnsley: Post Match Reaction`

“It was a game of two halves, I was disappointed how we performed first half. The effort was there but the intensity wasn’t. With the ball we let ourselves down and didn’t retain possession up top and we didn’t capitalise on any counter-attacking opportunities. I felt we had three real good ones that we should have scored from"

“Second half we imposed ourselves on the game and caused them problems and that’s why we’re disappointed to come away with nothing.”

“It’s statistically proven that those extra days make a difference. But, if you go into a game with that sort of mind-set you set yourself up to fail so we don’t do that, the players don’t. It’s just a case of how do we win this game and we had to do that at half-time. Again, we just had to set out right to go and attack the second half.”
