"It was a good run out for the lads and things are starting to take shape. We were up against a very good side who have done well in the Premiership and look as though they will be going well again next season.
"The new lads are starting to settle in well although they still need some time and a little work on the training ground.
"Overall I was very pleased with how they did and it is another step towards the first game.
"I think the penalty was a little farcical as only the referee saw something. I think I would have been absolutely fuming if that decision had gone against us in the Coventry game although I think we can learn something and we have to keep our hands down, if that was what it was awarded for".
