"It was poor. End of story. From start to finish we did not pass it well or defend well. The goal was like something from a playground although sometimes it is defended better there.

"You have to give credit to Reading because they worked hard but we just did not do anything that we spoke about before the game. That is very disappointing.

"Our supporters have come here and they expect more than that. They should be given more than that and usually do. We now have to put that right on Tuesday".
