"I'm really pleased.I think we deserve it, the players deserve it. I think in the second half they easily could have won it but I do feel as though the hard work we've put in, it's just reward.
"We've come a long way to get that result. We're encouraged by our away form.
"Our goalkeeper deserves a reward for the two saves with that victory. I'm a bit disappointed he didn't keep a clean sheet! We rode our supposed luck, and I'll accept it.
"I think there's been too much pressure, that's indicative of football. There's a pressure to be successful and it's unrealistic. There should be no pressure on Brian (McDermott) or Reading.
"The players are relieved, they've supported me although I've found it difficult, I must admit."
