Sheffield United 0-0 Barnsley: Post Match Reaction

"I think it is a brilliant point when you look at the three long journeys we have been on in the last few weeks and the fact that we are down to the bar bones, hence only six on the bench.

"It was a patched up team today and we went out and got a brilliant point. It was bitty but we threw our bodies in there when we had to and did pretty well. We tried to play on the counter attack and nick it before breaking forward.

"This is always a difficult place to come and we do have a lot of injuries but we got on with it and took a point.

"All games at this stage of the season are going to be difficult and every team is scrapping for something. We are no different but when you have so many injuries to a squad the size of ours it does hurt you.

"I am pleased with my players today and their application, effort and attitude. We know we can play better than that but they acquitted themselves well and got a good point.

"We will train tomorrow and see where we are for Monday".
