Swindon 0-1 Barnsley: Post Match Reaction

"I think when you come to Swindon, you have to set out a plan. You've got to make sure they can't break the lines and get in between you and they rarely did.

"At half time, we came in and we'd had 10 shots to their one. Really we should have taken one of them.

"In the second half we did get pegged back a bit for 15 or 20 minutes but still looked like we could break on them and score.

"I'm delighted for the lads because they've put in a good shift there. It's their third game in a week. Another really tough game but our organisation was that good we earned ourselves an opportunity for Sam to score the winner."

"Today was always going to be completely different (to Bradford). I thought James Bree was superb, Josh Brownhill had a great game and Conor marshalled it. The back-line rarely got threatened, I'm a happy gaffer tonight!

"We have said before how young a group it is and now it becomes exciting because we're not making individual errors and teams are not getting through us because we've done so much organisational work. We can go on the front foot, we're always dangerous going forward and today we could have had four.

"Alfie is definitely going to be a top player. He's ironing out those things he needed to work on to become the player he can be.

"Lloyd was always a threat. He's a great worker, he works his socks off. He's unfortunate he hasn't set up a couple or got a goal himself. But, generally, he's a great kid to work with."
