"We will go back to the drawing board"- Simon Davey

"Coventry scored against the run of play but I felt that we did well to get back Into it. We had chances and we know that we are a good team but we have to start winning games.

I do not want to comment on the sending off because I want to see the challenge again on the video. We had a definite penalty not given in the first half. I saw that one on the video at half-time and there was no nudge from Darren Moore.

Obviously we are disappointed to lose the game but you do not perform like that, particularly in the first half, and be a bad team.

We performed well out there today and should have capitalised when we were on top in the first half. It was not for the want of trying. There were few good saves but it never really went for us. We kept knocking on the door but it just would not go for us.

We have a few injuries but I put out a team that I knew could go out and win the game. When you look at our performance we should have won it but yet again we have lost. we will go back to the drawing board and try to make sure that does not happen again starting next week at Birmingham.

I am happy with individual performances and happy with the team performance. I am not happy with the result because we have lost. We have done the same at QPR and against Crewe and I believe that someone will be on the end of a hammering sooner rather than later. Hopefully it will come next week"
